Our Client in the Bus Transportation Industry based on the Northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa is looking for a Bus Depo Manager to join their team.
To oversee daily operations, inventory, staff and customer service.
The incumbent will also be responsible for meeting targets, managing warehouse safety compliance, and coordinating logistics.
Key roles involve optimizing productivity, managing budgets, and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics: Managing daily activities.
Inventory Control : Maintaining accurate stock levels, conducting audits, and reducing losses.
Team Leadership: Supervising, training, and motivating staff, including drivers and personnel.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including vehicle maintenance and insurance.
Sales & Service: Meeting budgets, managing customer relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Experience in logistics, FMCG, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management will be advantageous.
