LEADING CONSTRUCTION MAIN CONTRACTOR SEEKS AN EXPERIENCED BUILDING FOREMAN (FROM FOUNDATIONS TO HAND OVER) TO WORK ON A MINE SITE NEAR BELFAST - CONFERENCE FACILITY AND OTHER STRUCTURES. MUST HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD ON LARGE BUILDING PROJECTS WITH REPUTABLE COMPANIES.
Duties & Responsibilities
8+ years building experience
proven experience in supervising commercial, office, institutional or similar building projects
Planning and production supervision
Supervision of teams
Quality and finishing control
Materials and cost control
Safety and Mine Site Co-ordination
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have a matric (Grade 12) Certificate
Must have at least a Supervisors Certificate (copies of which will be submitted for verification)
Strong experience in the finishing trades, snagging and practical completion
Ability to read architectural, structural and services drawings, finishing schedules adn relevant BoQ descriptions
Ability to calculate quantities, plan labour requirements and prepare material requisitions
Good communication, record keeping and subcontractor management skills
