Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelor of Accounting Science, Honours in management Accounting or Equivalent qualification at NQF level 8
- 8 years at management level, with proven experience in preparation of the annual financial statement and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Registration with CIGFARO, CIPS or equivalent
- CPMD certificate willbe an added advantage.
- A valid driver's license is essential; and
- Computer literacy with all office applications.
Key Performance Areas Include but not limited to
- Provide Strategic and operational leadership accounting and Asset Management.
- Directing and managing the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in terms of chapter 12 of the MFMA through monitoring general ledger reconciliations, and of compiling quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Maintain GRAP compliant asset register and ensure compliance with MRMA and local government legislation compliance.
- Policies and procedures formulation and updating.
- Manage the audit process and risk management of the section.
- Oversee the management of fleet and inventory.
- Directs the control performance management of the section and outcomes of personnel.
- Manage and execute reporting in terms of the MFMA.
