- Ages: Daughters aged 2, 6 and 8 years old. There are two older kids 12 and 18 who may needs lifts every now and then, but no other duties for them.
- Working hours: Monday – Friday: 13:00 - 17:00
- School holiday hours: Same hours as above
- Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework only for the 6 and 8 year old, run general family errands, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with children.
- Requirements: Age above 21, studying towards a degree, preferably teaching qualification, fun, engaging, patient, kind, goal-orientated, respectful, tidy, punctual
- Start date: 01 September 2026 – permanent contract
- Salary: R10000 - -R12000 per month gross, before deductions + SARS rates per km R4.76 for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work. - Salary Dependent on experience and qualifications.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
