An awesome opportunity has arisen for a Broker Support/Underwriter to join a well established and expanding insurance broker based in the East Rand area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Broker support
- Personal lines and/or commercial lines underwriting and policy endorsements
- General policy and insurance administration, renewals and cancellations
- Client servicing and Insurer liaison
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 3 to 5 years' Personal Lines or Commercial Lines experience
- A strong short-term insurance knowledge
- Short-term insurance administration experience from a Brokerage's perspective
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification (150 FAIS credits) or RE5 certification advantageous
- Ideally should be available to start immediately
- Fluency in Afrikaans an advantage but not essential
Package & Remuneration
Salary from R18K - R25K CTC per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
