About the Role

  • We're looking for a Branch Marketer who thrives on responsibility, leadership, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of stock management within your designated areas, including ordering, merchandising, stock control, and regular stock takes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, resolving queries, and building strong, lasting relationships
  • Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and effective marketing of relevant agricultural and related products
  • Actively engage with customers and farmers to identify opportunities and recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Execute branch marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns to increase customer engagement and grow branch sales
  • Monitor market trends and customer need to identify new business and sales opportunities
  • Maintain high standards of product presentation, merchandising, and in-branch promotions
  • Work closely with the Senior Branch Marketer and Branch Manager to achieve branch sales, marketing, and operational targets
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting on sales activities, customer trends, stock levels, and marketing initiatives
  • Support the overall success and profitability of the branch through a proactive, sales-focused approach

What We're Looking For

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English , with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working effectively in a multicultural environment , with the ability to communicate and build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Own reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
  • Be able to have own accommodation , as Vivo is a rural area with limited accommodation available
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office , including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the agri-retail environment
  • Flexible and willing to work occasional after-hours when required
  • A confident, friendly, and customer-focused people -person who enjoys building relationships
  • Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective while working under pressure
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and sales-driven approach to achieving targets

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage customer enquiries, follow-ups, and marketing activities
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of local market trends and customer needs
  • Willingness to work in the field and actively engage with farmers and agricultural communities
