Branch Manager: Sales & Operations Port Elizabeth

We are seeking a results driven Branch Manager to lead our Port Elizabeth operation, with a strong focus on technical sales and revenue growth. This is a fast paced, sales led role requiring hands on leadership to drive performance, unlock opportunities, and support customers with a solid technical understanding. The role demands a high level of discipline in execution, ensuring accountability, structure, and consistency across the branch, while maintaining smooth day to day operations in line with the Natglass standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive branch sales performance and consistently grow revenue and market share

• Actively manage and develop key customer relationships within the region

• Identify new business opportunities and convert pipeline into orders

• Provide technical sales support and guidance to customers and internal teams

• Ensure all quotations and orders are accurate, competitive, and aligned to company standards

• Take full ownership of branch targets and ensure the team funds their number

• Lead, manage, and hold the branch team accountable to performance standards

• Instil a culture of discipline, urgency, and accountability across the branch

• Monitor daily activities to ensure productivity, efficiency, and output targets are met

• Ensure production targets are consistently achieved

• Ensure delivery targets are met and customer commitments are honoured

• Ensure clear communication and coordination between sales, operations, and dispatch

• Oversee smooth day to day branch operations including stock control, dispatch, and administration

• Ensure compliance with all company processes, systems, and the Natglass Quality System

• Maintain high standards of quality, service delivery, and customer satisfaction

• Proactively resolve issues, escalations, and operational challenges

• Inventory is tightly controlled, with a strong focus on reducing shrinkage, breakage, and wastage

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate

• Valid driver’s licence

• Minimum 7 years working experience

Beneficial Qualifications

• CAD computer drafting experience

• Valid forklift licence

• SAGI candidate or membership

Essential Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in a sales driven role, with a strong track record of growing revenue

• Previous experience leading a branch, operations, or team environment

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage margins, pricing, and profitability

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams with discipline, accountability, and urgency

• Experience in stock control and logistics management

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills

• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and service excellence

• Proficient in basic computer systems and order processing platforms

Advantageous Experience

• Site based experience and understanding of installations and resolving problems

• Proven experience in the aluminium and glass industry

• Technical understanding of glass, aluminium, or a related industry

• Experience managing production, dispatch, or operational environments
