Hire All - An established Plant Hire company that supplies construction equipment to the industry - is looking for a senior branch manager to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct daily random checks of machinery/equipment
- Maintain sufficient stock levels of machines and equipment.
- Manage driver route planning for efficient deliveries and collections.
- Supervise housekeeping and daily vehicle/equipment checks, ensuring new vehicles or equipment are not allocated to new operators without authorization.
- Achieve branch sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Have at least 5 years experience as a branch manager, be it in civils, construction or mining. Plant hire experience would be a major advantage!
- Confident, self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to motivate staff.
- Have a fair understanding of Excel and the powers thereof.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to transfer to various branches.
- Tertiary studies in Business Management will be advantageous.
