This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with dealership experience to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the branch's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sound financial controls, preparing accurate financial information, supporting month-end reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced dealership environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing financial success and operational efficiency of a dynamic and growing organisation. Detail: Requirements: BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role within the motor industry / motor dealership. Valid Code 8 driver's licence. High attention to detail and strong accuracy. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Proactive, confident, and solution-oriented work approach. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS. Control and manage fixed assets, debtors, and creditors. Perform payment and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timeously. Reconcile stock and manage stock control processes. Conduct risk management activities at branch level. Monitor and control expenses. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journals and oversee the general ledger. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly and within set deadlines. Review vehicle stock counts and reconcile variances. Monitor parts and workshop cash sales. Control and oversee all branch financial activities. Support junior staff and perform additional accounting duties as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
