Introduction

Stallion Integrated invites suitably qualified internal employees to apply for the position of Bookkeeper to Trial Balance . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a strong accounting background who is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and financial excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Company's financial records while ensuring efficient financial operations and supporting sound business decision-making .

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Process cash book and prepare bank recon and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Process and pay invoices, bills, and other expenses in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and credits.

Payroll Management

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including PAYE, UIF, and SDL.
  • Manage employee benefits, including medical aid, pension funds, and leave.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and laws.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Analise financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including fraud and non-compliance.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Analise financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.

Audit and Assurance

  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure that financial records and transactions are accurate and complete.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Payroll accuracy and timeliness.
  • Employee benefits management.
  • Financial statement preparation and review.
  • Audit support and compliance

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
