Valid drivers license Experience within: Food manufacturing or similar Retail operations FMCG manufacturing Multi-site operations 5 – 10 Years in a related field Advanced Pastel Partner manufacturing experience, BOM maintenance Advanced Computer Literacy: Excel, Word, Outlook, & One-Drive Accurate, numerate with relevant experience within the accounting field along with knowledge in organizational effectiveness, and ability to impart knowledge effectively. Proficiency with payroll processing, strong analytical and problem-solving skill, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Handling sensitive employee data with integrity, discretion and confidentiality. Duties Full Accounting Function Debtors: Manage the full accounts receivable function, invoice customers, perform debtor reconciliations, resolve queries, and distribute monthly statements. Creditors: Manage the full accounts payable function, perform creditor reconciliations, and prepare 2 monthly supplier payments. Cashbook & Banking: Maintain cashbooks, process daily transactions, and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Asset Register: Maintain and update the company's fixed asset register. Financial Reporting: Prepare and issue monthly management accounts up to Trial Balance Treasury Management: Prepare daily cash flow reports and compile cash forecasts. Petty Cash: Control, reconcile, and issue petty cash. Statutory Compliance & Taxation VAT: Perform accurate VAT reconciliations and submit returns via SARS e-Filing. PAYE & UIF: Load monthly payroll taxes and UIF submissions onto SARS e-Filing. COIDA, Annual returns submissions & other Annual Reconciliations: Handle IRP5 reconciliations, EMP501 submissions to SARS, and issue annual IRP5 certificates. HR & Payroll Function Payroll / Wages Processing: Run the full payroll function using Pastel Payroll, including generating and distributing payslips. Statutory Returns: Manage monthly PAYE, UIF, and annual submissions. Employee contracts and personnel files Recruitment and interviewing Staff onboarding and inductions Leave management and attendance control Disciplinary processes and hearings Performance management support Office Administration & Operations Communication: Manage company emails and professional correspondence. Departmental Liaison: Interact and coordinate with different departments on a daily basis. Operational Support: Oversee remote cash-up procedures. Stock control function Conduct stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals. Control stock level days in accordance with Company standards. Proactively identify and report on overstocking, under-stocking or out of stock scenarios and engage with applicable role-players in order to address the misalignment and resolve promptly. Analyse and implement corrective measures to stabilise flow and inventory peaks. Ensure that applicable purchase orders and scheduled agreements are valid and applicable at all times. Coordinate stock exit and take-on. Identify and report poor performing or dormant stock items. Communicate low stock levels Be the custodian of stock record & balances. Responsible for physical verification, regular reconciliations, and general monitoring of stock activity. Assist in developing and implementing inventory policies and procedures. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc inventory levels and consumption reports to all the relevant stakeholders. Facilitate and participate in monthly and annual stock counts in the field. Perform monthly stock reconciliations of physical counts and highlight variances Reconcile stock deliveries with purchase orders, proof of delivery and actual invoices.
