This role at a well-established Johannesburg law firm requires proven experience in commercial property matters, managing complex lending and property finance bonds, bond cancellations, Standard Bank legal cancellations, and correspondent conveyancing matters. Detail: REQUIREMENTS Matric certificate Tertiary qualification in conveyancing, legal administration or a related field will be advantageous Minimum 5 years relevant experience Experience working with commercial litigation and property law matters Sound knowledge of bond registration and bond cancellation processes Proficiency in legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of FICA and other relevant legal compliance requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong administrative and organisational skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters and meet strict deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional, client-focused approach Strong problem-solving and time management skills DUTIES Attend to bond registrations and bond cancellations from inception to finalisation Liaise with banks, clients, estate agents attorneys and the Deeds Office Draft, prepare and check bond documentation Ensure compliance with all legal, banking and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records and update electronic filing systems Monitor progress of matters and follow up on outstanding requirements Arrange and attend to client consultations and document signing appointments Prepare accounts, statements and fee notes where required Attend to lodgement, registration and post-registration processes Manage correspondence and respond to client and stakeholder queries Coordinate with commercial litigation and property law teams on related matters Ensure all matters are finalised within required turnaround times Assist with general administrative and secretarial duties within the department Maintain confidentiality of all client information and legal documentation Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
