- Manage, motivate, and guide technical staff while driving collaborative problem-solving
- Hands-on on electrical a mechanical work on a daily basis.
- Attend to and resolve urgent equipment breakdowns.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is maintained according to industry best practices.
- Oversee spares and consumable stores management to optimise stock levels and availability.
- Adhere strictly to Astral risk management policies and safety protocols.
- Assist with fire breaks.
- Implementation and maintenance of the 20 keys Operational Improvement programmes.
Required Qualification and Knowledge
- Minimum Matric or N3 qualification;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working on Boilers;
- Electrical and Mechanical experience;
- Have at least 2 years relevant experience on a supervisory position
- Able to work under pressure
- Experience in maintaining Poultry farms will be an added advantage;
- He must be able to work with people;
- Valid Driving licence
