Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Lead, allocate work, monitor performance and drive delivery through Billing Specialists and Billing Clerks.
- Invoice review, billing validation, reconciliation and quality control .
- Analyse billing errors, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as a Billing Supervisor from the Courier/ Road Freight industry essential.
- Grade 12 with Mathematics essential
- 2 years supervisory or team leadership experience within a Courier/ Road Freight billing or finance administration environment
- Understanding of end-to-end invoice production, billing batches, customer account billing rules and invoice despatch controls.
- Knowledge of rates application, rate sign-off requirements, billing validations and exception handling.
- Understanding of billing accuracy controls, credit note drivers, invoice rework, customer billing queries and revenue leakage risks.
- Diploma in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related field advantageous
