Start free — we apply for you →- Wine Estate based in the Somerset West area is seeking a friendly & skilled Barman & Barista to prepare quality beverages and provide attentive guest service.
Duties
- Prepare coffees, teas and other hot beverages.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Take accurate orders and process transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of the beverage menu and recommend suitable options.
- Keep the bar and coffee station clean and stocked.
- Monitor stock, assist with counts and minimise waste.
- Clean equipment and report faults.
- Follow hygiene standards and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
Requirements
- Previous bar and barista experience.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing.
- Familiarity with wines, spirits and beverage service.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Experience using a POS system.
- Professional presentation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Availability for shifts, weekends and public holidays.
