- The primary role of this position is to perform front-of-house in the banqueting section of the Hotel & Catering Services. The incumbent will also be responsible for venue setup and breakdown, and for providing superb service during functions and events. The incumbent will ensure compliance with food safety requirements in the assigned food service areas.
Key Performance Areas
- Banqueting, functions, and events front-of-house duties.
- Customer service.
- Hygiene, health and safety.
- Driver duties.
- Training of hospitality students.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12.
- 3 years of experience in banqueting or front-of-house in a reputable hotel 4-star is a prerequisite.
- A code 10 driver's license is a must.
- A PDP will be an added advantage.
- Experience in MICROS will be an added advantage.
