- Assisting with the daily preparation and baking of sweet treats and pastries
- Following recipes and maintaining good quality and consistency
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with pastry and baking production
- Keeping the bakery area clean and hygienic
- Learning new baking techniques and products
- Supporting the Baker and wider team with daily production
CRITERIA
- Must reside in Grabouw or Botrivier – transport is provided from these areas
- Grade 12 required, with good comprehension and numeracy skills
- Genuine passion for baking and willingness to learn
- Some baking experience or practical baking knowledge advantageous
- Reliable, hardworking and positive
- Good hygiene and food-safety awareness
- Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays as required
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans read, write and speak
- Be willing to work weekends according to the company's rotating roster
