B2B Distribution Junior Sales Representative

YS Distributors is a premier importing and distribution company based in Springfield Park, Durban. We specialize in sourcing and delivering quality products across South Africa.

We are seeking an energetic B2B Distribution Junior Sales Representative to join our import and distribution team. In this role, you will focus on corporate sales, managing trade accounts, cold calling commercial buyers, and driving revenue through wholesale channels. (Retail/storefront experience alone will NOT be considered).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and cold-call commercial/corporate buyers, retailers, and commercial accounts.

• Manage corporate account portfolios, handle price-list quotations, and negotiate bulk order terms.

• Conduct client visits and present product catalogs to business clients across the region.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts.

• Maintain and update the customer database with accurate account details.

• Process customer orders promptly and coordinate delivery requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in B2B, wholesale, or distribution sales (retail/storefront experience alone will not be considered).

• Demonstrated track record of corporate prospecting, cold calling commercial buyers, trade client acquisition, and managing corporate account portfolios.

• Experience dealing with commercial purchase orders, invoicing, and trade credit terms.

• Minimum Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (Matric).

• Computer literate (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License (for client meetings/business outings) and a clear criminal record.

Package & Remuneration

R8,000 – R10,000 per month (Basic salary) + Monthly Sales Incentives .
