Azure .NET Backend Developer

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Senior C#/.NET Backend Developer with strong Microsoft Azure expertise to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and support cloud-native applications for KYC (Know Your Customer) and Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have experience building secure, scalable, event-driven microservices using C#/.NET and Azure services, with a strong focus on API development, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and production support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable C#/.NET Core backend services and APIs.

• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions, Container Apps, App Services).

• Develop API-based and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus and Event Grid .

• Implement clean architecture, domain-driven design, and microservices best practices.

• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform , Bicep , or ARM Templates .

• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps .

• Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing using Application Insights and OpenTelemetry .

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.

• Ensure application security through Azure Identity, Key Vault, secrets management, and secure coding practices.

• Support production environments by troubleshooting issues, improving resilience, and optimizing performance.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

•    Minimum 6 years' backend engineering experience.

•    Strong experience with C# / .NET, including .NET Core or later.

•    Proven experience building or integrating systems using APIs and asynchronous messaging.

•    Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

•    Solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including security, logging, error handling and performance.

•    Beneficial experience includes KYC, onboarding or client lifecycle systems; Dynamics 365 or Power Platform; event-driven or distributed architectures; financial services or regulated environments; and Microsoft Azure certifications.
