We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international automotive warranty solutions provider for an experienced, highly organised, and detail-oriented Motor Warranty Specialist to join their growing Warranty Operations Team. This exciting remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced Ford Warranty Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical expertise, warranty compliance, and revenue optimisation to deliver exceptional results for dealership clients across the United States. Role of the Motor Warranty Specialist As a Motor Warranty Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing, auditing, processing, and optimising warranty claims to maximise dealership revenue while ensuring strict compliance with OEM warranty policies and procedures. Leveraging advanced technology and proprietary software, you will work closely with dealership service departments and internal stakeholders to ensure claims are submitted accurately, reconciled efficiently, and processed to the highest industry standards . Remuneration: Market-related salary depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including company-issued laptop, fibre allowance, annual leave, public holidays aligned to the USA calendar, and outstanding long-term career growth opportunities within a global automotive organisation. Working Hours: 14:00 – 23:00 SAST, aligned to USA business hours and subject to seasonal time-zone adjustments and operational requirements. Detail: Duties include Reviewing, validating, processing, and submitting warranty claims in accordance with OEM warranty policies and procedures. Auditing repair orders, labour operations, technician stories, and parts claims to maximise warranty recovery opportunities. Identifying and capturing additional claim revenue through detailed claim analysis. Managing warranty claim submissions, resubmissions, reconciliations, and follow-ups. Monitoring outstanding warranty receivables and ensuring timely reconciliation with the manufacturer. Researching warranty concerns and preparing supporting documentation for claim approvals. Reviewing warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance requirements. Maintaining detailed warranty records, reports, and claim documentation. Preparing documentation and supporting information for warranty audits. Liaising with service departments, technicians, management teams, and stakeholders to resolve claim discrepancies and obtain required information. Providing updates regarding claim status, eligibility, approvals, and rejections. Analysing warranty trends and identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies. Communicating warranty programmes, policy updates, recalls, and technical bulletins to relevant stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with all OEM warranty specifications and company procedures. Maintaining accurate data entry across warranty systems and software platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve warranty processes and performance. Supporting dealership aftersales departments with warranty-related guidance and administration. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' automotive warranty administration experience within a franchised dealership environment. Recent or Previous Ford warranty administration experience Accreditation and qualifications required to process warranty claims and parts costings on Ford systems. Ford warranty administration experience is highly advantageous; however, applications are welcomed from certified Warranty Clerks with current or previous OEM accreditation and warranty processing experience within brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Kia, BMW, Nissan, or other major franchised automotive brands. Experience processing warranty claims through OEM manufacturer warranty portals and systems, with exposure to brands such as Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, BMW, Nissan, or similar franchised dealership environments. Strong understanding of dealership service operations, warranty procedures, labour operations, and parts costings. Previous experience within a high-volume dealership group environment will be advantageous. Experience as a Warranty Clerk, Warranty Administrator, Costing Clerk, Service Advisor, or similar aftersales role. Technical automotive knowledge or workshop experience will be beneficial. Experience working on dealership management systems such as Automate, Evolve, Kerridge, ADP, Ford Dealer Management Systems integrated with FMCDealer/FordPass, SAGA. TDD, Xentry or similar platforms. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software systems quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Must be able to work a permanent shift aligned to USA business hours (14:00 – 23:00 SAST).
