Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: Automotive Brake & Clutch Stock & Credit Controller - Gauteng, Westrand Start Date: 2026-08-27 - 2026-10-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000921 Sectors: *Component Manufacturers Location: Gauteng , JHB - Western Suburbs Salary: Brief: Remuneration: R15,000 – R17,000 per month (Dependent on Experience) + Provident Fund + Annual Performance Bonus Purpose Of The Job: A well-established Automotive Brake & Clutch company is seeking an experienced Stock & Credit Controller to manage stock control, inventory accuracy, warranty administration, debtors management, and general administrative functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient stock management, timely collections, accurate reporting, and exceptional customer service. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Stock Control Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement transactions Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient availability of parts Conduct regular stock counts and investigate stock variances Process stock receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments Manage supplier returns and warranty-related stock claims Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock Ensure compliance with company stock control procedures Credit Control Manage customer accounts and debtors collections Follow up on overdue accounts and outstanding payments Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account queries Allocate payments accurately and timeously Prepare age analysis reports and debtor reconciliations Assist with customer credit applications and account maintenance Ensure adherence to company credit policies and procedures Warranty Administration Process and track warranty claims accurately Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding warranty issues Maintain warranty records and supporting documentation Follow up on outstanding warranty credits and claims Administration & Reporting Prepare stock and debtor reports for management Capture and maintain accurate information on Sage Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations Maintain filing systems and supporting documentation Support branch operations with administrative duties as required Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in a Stock Controller and Credit Controller role Experience within the Automotive Parts, Brake & Clutch, Motor Spares, or related industry is essential Proven experience with warranty claims administration Strong debtor management and account reconciliation experience Essential experience on Sage Software Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience working with inventory and accounting systems Motor Industry experience Essential! Skills & Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good communication and customer service skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and confidentiality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Stock accuracy and inventory control Reduction of stock variances Timely processing of warranty claims Debtors collection targets achieved Accurate account reconciliations Timely and accurate reporting Effective resolution of customer and supplier queries Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
