• Inspect rims for bubbles, scratches, paint defects, porosity and other quality issues according to required standards and SOPs • Identify and report any faults or defects to management immediately • Regularly check stock and consumables required at the quality station and report shortages • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times • Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and consistently • Assist other departments when required and as instructed by the Operations Manager • Follow all company procedures, quality standards and workplace requirements • Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 1 year's experience in the motor industry
- Previous experience in a quality, production, wheel/rim or automotive manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of quality standards and the ability to identify defects on rims
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and presentable
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Quick learner with a proactive approach
- Resilient, hardworking and willing to assist where required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Motor Industry experience Essential!
