Looking for an Automation Test Manger
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement enterprise-wide test strategies, standards, and quality frameworks.
- Establish test governance, quality gates, and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop project test plans, schedules, test estimates, and resource plans.
- Ensure alignment of testing activities with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Test Management
- Manage end-to-end testing across functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
- Monitor test progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and defects.
- Provide regular status reports and executive dashboards to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.
Automation Testing Leadership
- Design and implement automation strategies leveraging Selenium WebDriver .
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Ensure automation coverage for critical business processes.
- Review and optimize automated test scripts for maintainability and performance.
- Drive CI/CD integration of automated test suites using DevOps tools.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor Test Leads, Test Analysts, and Automation Engineers.
- Conduct performance management, coaching, and skills development.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and implementation of QA best practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Project Managers.
- Participate in project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release governance forums.
- Provide quality assurance recommendations to senior management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (required).
- ISTQB Test Manager / Advanced Test Analyst certification (preferred).
Required Experience
- 8–12+ years of Software Testing experience.
- 3–5+ years in a Test Manager or Test Lead role.
- Proven experience managing medium to large testing engagements.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver automation.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, or Enterprise environments preferred.
