- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAGE experience advantageous).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of the South African mining industry and industry contacts.
- Ability to communicate product value propositions effectively.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations.
- Proven business development experience in the mining sector.
- Exposure to instrumentation equipment and systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Driving and sustaining sales growth to achieve company objectives.
- Meeting sales and profitability targets.
- Conducting regular customer visits to understand client requirements and provide solutions.
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Preparing presentations, proposals, and commercial submissions.
- Developing and implementing market growth strategies and weekly sales activities.
- Resolving customer service issues effectively to maintain strong client relationships.
- Assisting with debt collection processes where necessary.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Completing customer satisfaction reports when required.
- Maintaining accurate customer information and account management records within the ERP system.
- Continuously improving product and industry knowledge.
