About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automatic Gearbox Re-Builder with a proven track record in diagnosing, stripping, repairing, rebuilding, and assembling automatic transmissions. The successful candidate will be quality-driven, technically competent, and committed to delivering workmanship of the highest standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on automatic transmissions.

• Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild automatic gearboxes.

• Replace worn or damaged transmission components.

• Assemble transmissions according to manufacturer specifications.

• Perform quality inspections and testing before installation.

• Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop.

• Assist with troubleshooting complex transmission issues when required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Several years' proven experience as an Automatic Gearbox Re-Builder .

• Extensive knowledge of automatic transmission systems and components.

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• A valid South African driver's licence is essential.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
