Where You'll Make an Impact
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant equipment
- Install, service, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and electronic control systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise equipment downtime
- Test and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and wiring harnesses
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Complete job cards, maintenance records, and inspection reports in line with safety standards
- Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and safety
Requirements
- Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognised trade certificate
- 3–5 years' experience working on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

- Electrical testing and diagnostic tools
- Electrical schematics and technical manuals
