- BCom Honours / CTA / CA(SA).
- Minimum 2 years' Audit Management experience.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to drive audit processes with urgency.
- Licensed and own vehicle.
- Strong accountability and ability to lead a team to meet deadlines.
- Experience with performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Our established client within the audit and advisory industry is on the search for a deadline-driven, proactive and accountable Audit Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage audit engagements from planning through to finalisation, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Lead, motivate and develop audit teams, including coaching and mentoring Trainee Accountants in line with SAICA requirements.
- Review audit files and financial statements and ensure compliance with ISAs and firm methodology.
- Identify audit risks, resolve issues and provide practical solutions.
- Build strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
- Monitor budgets, WIP, recoverability and billing.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and service delivery.
- Work closely with Partners and contribute to the overall success and growth of the Audit Department.
