An established manufacturing company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Intern to join their team in Elsies River. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a qualification in Internal Audit and some practical experience who is looking to further develop their auditing skills within a dynamic business environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with internal audit processes and activities across the business.
- Conduct audit testing and assist with the evaluation of internal controls.
- Identify potential risks, control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Assist with preparing audit reports and maintaining accurate audit documentation.
- Support compliance and governance-related activities.
- Work closely with various departments to gather information and follow up on audit findings.
- Assist with monitoring and implementing recommendations arising from audits.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant qualification in Internal Audit .
- 2–3 years’ relevant experience in an internal audit environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge or experience in Environmental Sustainability will be an advantage.
