A family is looking for an AU PAIR for 2 - 3 children
Area: Thatchfield, Centurion
Children's Ages: Remainder of 2026: 3 x 8 year olds | 2027 onward: 2 x 8 year olds
Working Hours:
Remainder of 2026: Monday & Wednesday 06:20 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 16:30, Tuesday & Thursday 06:20 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 17:30 and Friday 06:00 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 14:30 18 hours 20 mins per week
2027 onward: Monday & Wednesday 06:20 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 15:30, Tuesday & Thursday 06:20 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 17:30 and Friday 06:00 - 07:20 and 13:30 - 14:30 18 hours 20 mins per week
School Holiday Hours: Same as above morning hour my move to afternoon hours
Duties: School drop offs and collections, transport to extra murals, homework supervision, preparing snacks or meals, educational play and ensure bags are packed for the next day.
Special Requirements: The ideal candidate should be female, between the age of 25 – 35 and tutoring or any academic experience would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
Start Date & Contract Term: ASAP - permanent
Salary: Remainder of 2026: R12 000 per month Gross, before deductions + SARS rates per km R4.95
2027 onward: R11 000 per month Gross, before deductions + SARS rates per km R4.95

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
