Au Pair | Oranjezicht | R14 000 Per Month

• Area: Oranjezicht
• Children's Ages: Girls – 5 and 9 years Grade 3
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:00 - 17:00 flexibility needed
• School holiday hours: Same/similar hours to above
• Duties:
• Au Pair: Collect children from school, transport them to and from extramural activities, prepare healthy snacks and light meals, assist with homework, school projects and school-related logistics, manage activities, appointments, playdates and schedules, plan age-appropriate activities, occasional evening babysitting, assist with light child-related household duties and run occasional morning errands while the children are at school paid for additionally, be a warm, nurturing, reliable and positive presence for the children.
• Household Manager: Coordinate contractors, maintenance and household service providers, oversee household tasks, repairs and follow-ups, assist with household accounts, invoices and general administration, help ensure the home runs smoothly day-to-day, take initiative and follow through on tasks requiring attention.
• PA: Manage diaries and meeting schedules, coordinate travel, flights and accommodation, assist with personal administration and logistics, follow up on appointments, bookings and outstanding items, assist with design-related administration, sourcing, suppliers, appointments and deliveries, provide general support across a busy work and personal schedule, work independently, ensure tasks are followed through to completion.
• Special Requirements: Female, 21+, relevant childcare experience, excellent contactable references, highly organised and proactive, warm and nurturing with children, strong communication skills, confident with technology and administration, trustworthy and able to work independently, non-smoker, valid driver's licence, own reliable car and clear driving record, comfortable with the broad scope of the role.
• Start Date and contract term: September 2026 – permanent
• Salary: R14 000 per month Gross, before deductions + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
