TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Assurance and Sustainability Administrator within the Timber division at Piet Retief / Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary This role involves maintaining compliance records, develop and maintain document control structures, coordinating audits, monitoring assurance and regulatory requirements, supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives, and providing administrative support for divisional health, safety and environmental activities to drive continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate external and internal monitoring
  • Plan and communicate audit dates, criteria and audit requirements
  • Manage audit programmes and document preparation
  • Maintain central stakeholder lists
  • Collect and consolidate ESG documentation from branches
  • Update IMS framework, documentation and ensure system information stays current
  • Administrator of HSE system
  • Ensure quality document control structure for business processes and managing master registers
  • Manage responsibilities lists, approved signatures and organograms
  • Maintain industry approved chemical lists and consolidate branch chemical reports
  • Coordinate relevant process, system and external certification or HSE training
  • Manage internal certification platform processes
  • Assist with accurate monthly management reports
  • Information management on legal updates and planning of monthly legal audits
  • Act as administrative contact for HandS, environmental incidents and concerns
  • Arrange internal team travel, accommodation and meeting bookings
  • Tracking on certificate and legal document validity
  • Assist branches with medicals, load/pressure testing and hygiene surveys, including record control
  • Maintain records of inspections, incidents, training and track close-outs
  • Update and coordinate LTIFR for the division
  • Manage and update the annual operational calendar

Qualifications and Skills

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Relevant qualification in HandS, Environmental, Quality or similar (advantageous)
  • Experience with certification standards (FSC, PEFC or ISO)
  • Documented internal auditor training or HIRA (advantageous)
  • Experience as management systems coordinator
  • Strong administrative and document control management skills
  • Good planning, coordination and communication abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and document control software
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
