The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
- Collect data from multiple sources and sift through and evaluate information.
- Organise, collate and analyse information and data from multiple databases and information feeds.
- Proactively communicate insight summaries to business partners, including the senior analysts and manager.
- Document information products and package for distribution to stakeholders through structured reporting.
- Apply appropriate analytical techniques, methodologies and technologies to meet objectives of the task.
- Synthesise multiple sources of data and information into a single topical summary.
- Derive insights that respond to client needs and key business questions.
Qualifications
Job requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:
- a Bachelor's degree NQF 7 in Security Risk Management, Security Studies, Intelligence Analysis or an equivalent qualification;
- knowledge of academic-level research methodology; and
- two to three years' experience in intelligence, research, security, finance and/or knowledge management.
The following would be an added advantage
- experience in information collection and analysis with a strong liaison and coordination capability.
- specialist training in intelligence analysis and/or completed risk analysis.
