The School invites eligible applicants to submit applications for the following positions:

Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer 1 post: Governance, Leadership, and Political Economy

  • PhD in Governance, Leadership, Development Studies, or a related Social Science discipline with relevant teaching experience and a publication record commensurate with the level of appointment.
  • Demonstrate ability to teach: Governance and Leadership; Political Economy; Development; and as an added advantage, Research Methods and Research Proposal Development/Writing.
  • For appointment at Associate Professor level, supervision experience in these fields is required.
  • For Senior Lecturer level, supervision experience will be advantageous.
  • An active research agenda focused on the public sector, including but not limited to governance, leadership, political economy, development, and broader socio-economic challenges facing the African continent and potential policy or governance interventions, is a requirement.
