To lecture Human Resource Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, lead postgraduate teaching in advanced HRM theories, strategic HRM, and Organisational Behaviour, conduct and publish research within the field of Human Resource Management; lead postgraduate research and curriculum development within the department. The primary focus of this post is focused on lecturing HRM at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, complemented by leadership in research, postgraduate supervision, and academic development.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Provide leadership in learning, teaching, and assessment processes in HRM and Organisational Studies
- Facilitate teaching and learning of Human Resource Management, strategic HRM, and Organisational Behaviour
- Provide postgrad supervision at Advanced diploma, masters and Doctoral (PhD) levels.
- Engage in independent and collaborative research in Human Resource Management, strategic HRM, and Organisational Behaviour
- Co-ordinate postgraduate programmes
- Participate in academic leadership, departmental administration, committee work, and faculty governance as assigned by the Head of Department or Director of the School of Industrial Psychology and Human Resources
- Lead and engage in meaningful community, professional, and industry engagement initiatives within the HRM domain.
- Collaborate with other members of the Department of Human Resource Management, as well as the School of Industrial Psychology and Human Resources
- Provide academic administration and academic leadership
