- We are seeking a motivated and analytical Risk and Retirement Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in risk management, retirement consulting, and employee benefits.
- As a Risk and Retirement Associate Consultant, you will work closely with experienced consultants to deliver innovative retirement, pension, and risk solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- You will gain valuable exposure to employee benefits, financial analysis, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Support consultants in delivering retirement, pension, and employee benefits consulting services.
- Analyse financial, retirement fund, and insurance data to develop client insights and recommendations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Assist in the implementation and review of retirement and risk management solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Liaise with insurers, retirement fund administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor industry developments and legislative changes affecting retirement and employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to benefit reviews, renewals, and benchmarking exercises
Minimum requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 B.Com degree advantageous
- NQF5 Wealth Management Certificate B.Com degree advantageous
- Completed RE5 Representative First level exam
- 5 years relevant Financial Services experience in a similar role
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
- Own vehicle and drivers' license

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

- Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
