- Trade Tested Artisan in the civil/ construction industry NQF level 6 Code 10 driver's license; Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in municipal operations and maintenance; Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Excellent analytic and problem-solving ability; High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality; Have ability to give attention to detail and be able to work under pressure; Report writing; Communication Skills; Ability to deal with conflict situations; Excellent Negotiation skills.
Duties
- Coordinate sewer operations, inspections, repairs and maintenance activities. / Plan and allocate staff, vehicles, plant, equipment and materials. /Supervise staff performance, attendance, productivity, discipline and safety. /Respond to sewer blockages, spillages, complaints and emergency repairs. /Monitor munici pal teams and contractors for quality, progress and compliance. /Conduct site and handover inspections and implement corrective measures. /Verify operational documents, maintain records and compile progress reports.
