Assistant Store Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

Main Purpose of the Job

Assistance to the Store Manager for day-to-day running of a Home HQ Store

Focus of the work is to meet personal and location sales targets and customer satisfaction standards by maximizing the customer’s experience

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure that service level standards are maintained.

•Ensure proper communication between departments and customers.

•Ensure full adherence to company policies and procedures.

•Monthly Sales targets achieved

•Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders, and payments)

•Dealing with queries, complaints, and feedback

•Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.

•Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates

•Keeping track of stock and ordering

•Assistance in organizing sales promotions and in-store events.

•Assistance in analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes.

•Assistance in providing reports to Senior Management.ustomer’s experience

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education: Matric

Skills & Expirience

•3-4 years of Retail experience

•1-2 years of Managerial experience

•Good math skills with the ability to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics.

•Good communication and organizational skills

•Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

•Point of sale experience

•Problem-solving attitude

•Flexibility to work in shifts.

•A Valid Drivers License
