- B Tech: Civil Engineering.
- Eligibility for registration as Candidate Engineering Technologist.
- Up to 3 years' relevant experience in Municipal Civil Engineering Infrastructure.
- Computer literacy, i.e. Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects. CAD and modelling packages.
- Willingness to travel within the City of Cape Town if required.
- A valid driver's licence.

- Applies basic principles and theoretical knowledge of civil engineering services, e.g. feasibility, concept and preliminary designs, documentation and procurement, contract administration and inspections.
- Compiling and maintaining stats.
- Drafting routine correspondence.

- Safe- keeping of research material.
- Analysing and evaluating information.
- Conduct research and investigations.
- Providing the results of research.
- Participating in facilitation.
- Answering routine queries.
