ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Description (Responsibilities) Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Supervise and support production supervisors and operators in their daily activities. Monitor the performance and efficiency of production lines and equipment. Identify and minimize production downtime, waste, defects, and operational losses. Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) requirements. Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production-related issues. Prepare and maintain production reports, records, and performance data. Assist in manpower planning, shift allocation, and effective utilization of production resources. Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Support training, coaching, and performance development of production employees. Investigate production problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Promote a culture of teamwork, discipline, productivity, and continuous improvement.
