 Job Title: Mine Manager/ Assistant Mine Manager
Location: Rustenburg, North West
Salary: Market Related
Job type: Permanent as well as contractual positions will be explored.
Duties
Assist in the planning and management of mining operations
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance are maintained
Oversee daily mining activities and coordinate with various departments
Implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency
Support the senior management in decision-making processes
Requirements
Proven experience in the chrome or platinum mining industry
Mech Engineer or any Engineer compliant with DMRE to be a legal appointee as per 2.13.1 as per MHSA Act will be considered.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of mining safety regulations and standards
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively on-site in a demanding environment
