Start free — we apply for you →Requirements: Three (3) year post-matric qualification (NQF L7) in Finance or Accounting. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting or finance Environment. (2) years proven managerial or supervisory experience in a finance division. Knowledge and experience of accounting or financial systems. Knowledge of risk management. Knowledge of the PFMA, 1999(Act no.1 of 1999), Treasury Regulations, and GRAP Standards. Required Skills: People management. Writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to liaise with officials at all levels within the organisation. Critical thinking and financial analysis. Administrative and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Computer literacy with sound knowledge of the full MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Additional Advantage: Postgraduate qualification (NQF L8) in Finance or Accounting. Experience in the public sector environment. Experience in the compilation of the annual financial statements through or using the Caseware system.
