Detail: This is a rare opportunity to join a new lodge from the ground up, working closely with senior management to shape service standards, systems and team culture ahead of opening. The ideal candidate thrives in a lean, multifunctional environment and is equally comfortable on the floor as behind the scenes. Core Criteria: Previous experience in a similar management or supervisory role within a luxury lodge or hospitality environment Strong understanding of housekeeping and food & beverage operations Proven ability to plan, roster, and coordinate a small team Experience developing or implementing SOPs and onboarding new staff Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Strong communication and guest-facing ability Comfortable working in a pre-opening or start-up lodge environment Ownership mindset with a flexible, all-rounder approach Core Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction Supervise and support housekeeping and food & beverage teams Plan and coordinate daily operational schedules and staff rosters Assist with the development and rollout of SOPs across departments Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members Monitor service standards and guest feedback, escalating where necessary Contribute to pre-opening planning, soft launch and grand opening preparations Step in across departments as needed in a lean, hands-on team structure Report directly to senior lodge leadership show more...
