Job Requirements
- Grade 12 ∙ Between 18 and 35 years ∙ Fluent in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape Afrikaans, English, isiXhosa – Read, Write and Speak ∙ NO CRIMINAL record and police security clearance not older than 3 months or proof of payment to be submitted with application ∙ Must be physically fit and mentally health ∙ Ability to work as part of a team ∙ High level of responsibility ∙ Must work overtime when ∙ Must not have been part of this program previously ∙ Candidates must reside within the Bergrivier Municipal area proof of address and a sworn affidavit must accompany this application. Candidates should not have a fear of confined spaces, heights, depths, water, blood and corpses.
Duties
- To perform basic firefighting and disaster management functions.
