Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Kerridge, or similar). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Duties Lead and supervise the General Ledger team, ensuring accurate reporting and meaningful reconciliations. Maintain and monitor the general ledger in line with IFRS and company policies - oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of trial balances and financial statements. Ensure compliance with tax, external audit (owner), and statutory reporting requirements. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve quality of financial reporting. Ensure compliance with FICA, POPIA, and other relevant regulations. Support the finance team in development of business cases for strategic growth planning. Provide training, guidance, and performance management for the GL team. show more...
