- To achieve set productivity levels as per work standards.
- Assist in setting up machines for specific raw materials usage and the changeover of all machinery.
- Record hourly/daily production.
- Responsible for quality control- all output must be in accordance with specifications as laid down by management.
- Ensure correct roll dimensions loaded as per Job requirement.
- Assist Senior Production Operator to set die sizes according to current work standards.
- To assist in operating machines performing sequences of operations and undertaking specific activities by:
- Checking settings and devices and activating correct measures if necessary.
- Observing readings on visual displays and initiating adjustments.
- Observe for malfunctioning and report to Senior Production Operator.
- Reporting on condition and status of parts requiring replacement and repair on daily checks.
Requirements
- Grade 12/ the equivalent
- Attention to detail
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual
- 1-2 years skilled Extrusion operational experience
