We are looking for an experienced Assistant Electrical Foreman to support the leadership of a dayshift electrical team. You’ll be hands-on, technically strong and confident working with both teams and management in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with leading and coordinating the electrical team
- General maintenance and fault-finding on machinery and equipment
- Single & three-phase systems, motors and electrical panels
- Packaging machinery maintenance
- VSD installation, setup and commissioning
- AC & DC fault-finding
- Sensors, limit switches and cable joints
- Lighting installations and maintenance
- Designing, wiring and commissioning new panels
What we’re looking for
- Previous electrical supervisory/management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Trade Tested Electrician preferred/required
- Own reliable transport
- Willing to work overtime and standby when required
- FMCG and automation experience will be an advantage
