- A recognised NQF 6 qualification in Economics, International Relations , Business studies, Development Studies or related qualifications. Four 4 years' experience in Investment Facilitation and Promotion of which two 2 years must be at a Senior practitioner level or equivalent.
- Experience in Tourism and Hospitality will be added advantage. Tourism management and development. Economic environment. Investment environment. Project management.
- Stakeholder management. Financial management. Computer literacy. Interpersonal skills. Client orientation. Communication written and verbal. Planning and organising skills. A valid driver's licence Persons with disabilities that prevent them from driving will still be considered.
DUTIES
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in compiling an investment project portfolio; Assisting in developing strategy and manage investment promotion; Enhancing brand recognition and promote products or services;
- Assisting in developing new products or services, or discontinuing them, or decisions on related research and development programs; Conducting market investment analysis; Advising on foreign direct investment; Assisting in developing and promoting local direct investment;
- Assisting in the identification, packaging and marketing of potential investment opportunities, and the identification of potential investors; Providing general information on the investment and domestic business climate, and offers dedicated aftercare services to investor; Facilitating and manage strategic funding partnerships;
- Facilitating public-private partnership agreements; Coordinating a risk assessment to determine the material risks to; Coordinating the selection, prioritization, development and management of new or renewed partnership.
