Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare assembly drawings, detailed drawings and production-ready drawings structural display solutions.
- Translate design concepts, sketches and briefs into accurate and practical assembly drawings.
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring all dimensions, specifications, materials and assembly details are clearly defined.
- Assist with the development of structural and component designs to ensure products are functional, stable and suitable for manufacturing.
- Ensure drawings accurately communicate how components fit, connect and assemble.
- Liaise with the Structural Design, Production, Estimating, Traffic and other relevant departments to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
- Review designs for accuracy, functionality, manufacturability and ease of assembly.
- Identify potential design, assembly or production issues and propose practical design solutions.
- Ensure all drawings are produced in accordance with company drawing standards, specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct basic checks on dimensions, tolerances, fit, alignment and component compatibility.
- Ensure designs are suitable for the intended manufacturing process and available production capabilities.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed project timelines and deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality and attention to detail across all design and drawing work.
- Perform any other reasonable design-related duties as required by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Product Design, or Industrial Design.
- 1–2 years of experience working in a drawing office, structural design studio, architectural practice, or similar design environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino).
- Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
- Familiarity with prototype building and finishing techniques is beneficial.
