MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Trade certificate
- Special Workman, preferably a Proficiency certificate, Grade 11 or equivalent N2 level certificate
- 1 – 2 years' experience required
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Monitor and control activities by maintaining a log of work, production, or maintenance
- Assign workers to projects as necessary by workload
- Obtain needed supplies and equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Attend departmental meetings, capital projects site meetings and even community meeting if need be
- Communicate with staff to establish and maintain effective working relations
- Maintain, trouble-shoot and repairs of water
