Armed Response Officer

Introduction

We are seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our Armed Response Team based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Our members are carefully recruited, selected, and trained in a wide range of safety and security techniques. They remain in constant contact with our 24-hour Control Room for security alerts and deployment of additional support. We pride ourselves on maintaining high operational standards and professionalism.

This is a full-time position offering an above-average salary.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform armed response duties as part of a professional response team

Respond to security alerts and incidents

Maintain constant communication with the 24-hour Control Room

Participate in fitness and shooting evaluations

Uphold company standards and operational procedures

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

Valid PSIRA certificate (Grade A, B, or C) with Response qualification

Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, or Carbine Competency

Advantageous

Previous experience in the security industry

No criminal record

Valid Driver’s Licence

Fluent in Afrikaans (due to client base requirements)

South African citizens only

Must be able to reliably commute to Stellenbosch or relocate before starting

Package & Remuneration

Basic Salary

R10 080 per month (starting salary)

Performance Bonus

R1 000 monthly performance bonus

Additional Earnings

Additional bonuses paid for successful arrests

All overtime worked is paid over and above basic cost to company

Sunday time paid over and above basic salary

Public holidays worked are paid over and above basic salary
